While most of the regions have already concluded its Winter Tour, the China Dota Pro Circuit was resumed following a two-week break for Chinese New Year.
The restart also saw PSG.LGD & Knights qualifying for the upcoming Lima Major in Peru.
With one Major slot remaining for the Chinese region, three teams remain in contention for the final ticket to Peru.

While the China Dota Pro Circuit (CN DPC) had only resumed yesterday, the region has already seen two more teams in PSG.LGD & Knights qualifying for the upcoming Lima Major in Peru. For the past two weeks, the CN DPC was put on hold for teams to celebrate the Chinese New Year while also allowing players to spend time with their families.

Following the holidays, the regional league had begun to resume as the rest of the world had already concluded its Winter Tour in each respective region.

3 out of 4 teams confirmed, one slot remains.

PSG.LGD qualifies despite Ame’s absence

PSG.LGD were affected during the off-season, as the roster shuffle saw the departure of Zhang "Faith_bian" Ruida & Zhao "XinQ" Zixing. Additionally, star carry player Wang “Ame” Chunyu was sidelined for the 2023 season to recover from fatigue. However, despite the roster changes PSG.LGD performed quite well in the regional league with its new roster despite its surprising loss to newly established team Knights with 5 wins and 1 loss so far.

During its latest series against Xtreme Gaming, PSG.LGD were able to reserve sweep its opponents thanks to Guo "shiro" Xuanang’s outstanding Lone Druid performance in Game Two as well as Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang’s Tinker dominance in Game Three.

While Xtreme Gaming were dominant in Game One, miscommunication between Zhang "Paparazi灬" Chengjun & Thiay "JT-" Jun Wen during a crucial base defense in Game Three crushed all hopes of a possible comeback as the latter misses a 4-man Reverse Polarity with Magnus due to his teammate’s mistake.

Knights dominantly secured its ticket to Peru

The third Major invitation was secured by newly established side Knights, after performing above expectations in its debut season. While the roster understandably lost to Team Aster, the team surprised many by taking down the likes of PSG.LGD and Xtreme Gaming throughout the regional league.

While Knights have already secured its Major tickets to Peru following its victory over bottom of the table Dawn Gaming, the team’s invitation might still be in danger as tournament organizers Perfect World are still waiting for Valve’s response following Knights’ allegations of using vision hacks at the start of the DPC season. However, as things stand Knights will be allowed to compete at the upcoming Lima Major.

With 3 out of 4 invitations already reserved, the final Major slot is still up for grabs in the CN DPC with Xtreme Gaming, Invictus Gaming and EHOME being in contention for the spot.
