Natus Vincere vs BetBoom Team: Match recap

While BetBoom Team secured a top eight finish at the ESL One Stockholm Major 2022, it didn't manage to qualify for the PGL Arlington Major, and was hence destined to play in the EEU regional qualifiers. On the other hand, NaVi had a bad start to the Dota Pro Circuit season. However, after changing two of its players at the end of the second tour, NaVi managed to regain its lost momentum coming into the regional qualifiers.

Going into the series, the community looked at BetBoom Team as the slight favorites to win the series against NaVi.

Recap

Natus Vincere vs BetBoom Team - Game One

Game One saw BetBoom drafted a carry Dawnbreaker, Queen of Pain (QOP) and an offlane Visage while NaVi went for an lineup of Juggernaut, Pangolier in the mid lane and Enigma supported by Marci.

The early game was decent as both teams managed to stall the game until its cores farmed up on items. However, starting from the 24th minute mark BetBoom started to gain the advantage as BetBoom focused more on objectives, including Roshan. The networth advantage, along with the Aegis allowed BetBoom to secure multiple teamfights as they forced NaVi to call the game at 36 minutes.

Natus Vincere vs BetBoom Team - Game Two

Game Two saw NaVi drafted a more aggressive lineup as they picked up Templar Assassin, Batrider in the mid lane and a Viper offlane while BetBoom went for Visage, Storm Spirit and Tidehunter supported by Nyx Assassin and Disruptor.

This match was a treat for the viewers as again, the early game was stable for both teams but this time it is NaVi who turned up the tempo as Alik "V-Tune" Vorobey’s Templar Assassin and Vladislav "laise" Lais’s Viper are killing off every BetBoom hero off the map. Despite BetBoom’s resistance, NaVi took Game Two after 47 minutes as they forced a Game Three.

Natus Vincere vs BetBoom Team - Game Three

Game Three was an interesting match for the viewers as NaVi drafted an aggressive lineup of a carry Pudge, Ember Spirit and Death Prophet while BetBoom drafted a carry Visage, Queen of Pain and Tidehunter.

The game was more of a one-sided match for NaVi as Volodymyr "Noone" Minenko’s Ember Spirit steamrolled over BetBoom in the early game. Despite BetBoom’s attempt to stall the game, NaVi’s aggressive lineup was too much for BetBoom as they called the game at the 25th minute mark.

Following the victory, NaVi will join Outsiders as one of the three teams from the region that will travel to Singapore for TI11, securing a slot in the Last Chance Qualifiers at the very least. BetBoom Team on the other hand, will drop into the Lower Bracket as they await the victor of the PuckChamp vs Nemiga Gaming series.
