Old G continues its journey in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) Tour 3: Division II with setbacks regarding its support player, Adam "Aramis" Moroz.
In its most recent match against Nigma Galaxy, Aramis was present for the draft and the game, however, he disconnected once the game began, leaving Old G to play 4v5.
Old G lost the first game unsurprisingly and decided to forfeit the next game, however, the team can now play its last two series with a stand-in without being disqualified.

Old G encounters obstacles and setbacks as the team works towards a Top 2 finish, in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) Tour 3: Division II. The team found itself in a predicament when its support player, Adam "Aramis" Moroz, apparently stopped playing with the team due to undisclosed reasons. In the recent match against Nigma Galaxy, the team faced a challenging situation when Aramis initially joined to play the game, however, he disconnected shortly after the game began.

The silver lining for Old G was that despite playing with a player disadvantage and ultimately forfeiting the second game, the team technically competed in one more series in the DPC WEU Tour 3: Division II with Aramis present in the lineup, ensuring that the team can now proceed to play with stand-ins without risking disqualification.

Earlier this week, Vladimir "No[o]ne-" Minenko expressed his surprise at Aramis's unexpected departure from the Old G squad by claiming "Everything is not so rosy, to be honest. Not in terms of results, but in terms of the team. At one point we just had a dude, Aramis, write: 'I am quitting the team, goodbye' when we got him on the roster…That's a ***. First time in my career that a guy writes on Discord, 'I am quitting, I won't play a game with you.'”

Silver Linings of Aramis's Disconnect in the Middle of the Game

Old G found itself in a delicate predicament as Aramis’ sudden decision caught the team off guard. To compensate for his absence, the team enlisted Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian as a temporary stand-in.

According to the official DPC rulebook, “A team that uses 4 substitutions and forfeits the next match, for this reason, is automatically disqualified from the rest of the competition, and all its opponents from previous and subsequent games get the win by default.”

With Old G having already played two games with stand-ins and three more remaining, the team faced the risk of disqualification if Aramis did not return for at least one more series.

During the match against Nigma Galaxy, Aramis, who had been absent from Old G’s lineup for undisclosed reasons, connected to the game but then disconnected as soon as the draft was over and before the horn was blown. The game was temporarily paused for Aramis to return, but unfortunately, he did not reconnect, and Old G continued to play the game with only four players.

Old G went on to forfeit the second game of the series.

Moving forward, Old G may not have Aramis coming back to support the team, however, they will be able to use Rodjer as a stand-in for the remaining two series. Old G’s next games are against Level UP and Ancient Tribe happening on the 23rd of June and the 25th of June respectively. Level UP is currently tied for 1st place in the standings, and beating them will be crucial if Old G wants to finish in the Top 2 and be promoted to Division I.
