A new bug has been discovered that allows players to get an infinite number of sentry wards in the game.
The recent 7.33 patch reduced the maximum sentry stock and increased its replenishment rate, meaning infinite sentry wards would give one team a significant advantage in the game.

Dota 2 has always been a game that is constantly evolving, and Valve recently released patch 7.33, which made significant changes to the game, including a larger map, new objectives, and various hero changes. However, massive patches have always had a history of various bugs being overlooked by the developers at Valve and are often discovered by players as they continue playing.  A recent bug has been discovered that allows players to gain an infinite number of sentry wards, which can give a team a significant advantage in the game.

How to Obtain an Infinite Number of Sentry Wards in Dota 2

Since the release of patch 7.33, players have discovered a new bug that allows them to get an infinite number of sentry wards in the game. Here is the process to obtain an infinite number of sentry wards:

  • First, one player buys one sentry ward and one observer ward.

  • Next, the first player shares one observer ward with the second player.

  • The second player locks the observer ward and then the first player shares the sentry ward to the second player.

  • After that, the second player unlocks the observer ward and double-clicks the sentry ward in their inventory to combine the two wards into one slot.

  • The player will now have one observer ward and two sentry wards.

  • The two players can repeat this process to gain an infinite number of sentry wards.

It is worth noting that this bug can only be performed with the help of another player. The process may seem repetitive, but it is a quick and easy way to gain an advantage in the game.

Valve is often known to fix bugs like these promptly after they are discovered but at the time of writing this article, it is still present in the game.

It is not the only recent bug that has been discovered in Dota 2, as another bug involving Primal Beast and Io relocating the Tormentor objective to a fountain and destroying the fountain was also hotfixed very recently. With the Berlin Major 2023 currently ongoing, bugs such as these may pose an issue for the professional teams that are currently playing if any one team decides to take advantage of these bugs.
