When asked about his future plans, the Danish support was skeptical about his answers as he is enjoying his year off from competitive Dota.

OG founder and two-time TI (The International) winner Johan "N0tail" Sundstein recently talked with content creator Mrs.Marple about his involvement in the team’s planning as well as his future plans in the competitive scene following TI11. The Danish support is currently in Singapore for The International 2022 (TI11) and will  broadcast the team’s podcast live from Secretlab HQ with OG CEO JMR Luna.

When asked about his future plans following the conclusion of TI11, N0tail was skeptical about his answer as he said that he is enjoying his break from the competitive scene.

“For me, I don't know. I need some time as well” - N0tail talks about coaching the current OG roster & future plans

Johan "N0tail" Sundstein has spent the majority of the season away from the competitive scene, as the two-time TI winner wanted to take a break following the conclusion of The International 2021 (TI10). However, he did make appearances as a broadcast talent at the GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 and coached his team, OG, at the Stockholm Major since Evgenii "Chuvash" Makarov was unable to attend.

In a recent interview on YoutTube with content creator Mrs.Marple, the Danish support was asked about his involvement in the current OG squad. He responded by saying that despite his coaching gig at the Stockholm Major, he tried to not get involved much as he felt that the current captain, Mikhail “Misha” Agatov & coach Chuvash should be responsible for all things involving the current roster of the team.

“Most of the coaching happened through Misha at TI10 and throughout the year. All of the OG things [logistics, drafting & analysis] that go into this team come mainly from Chuvash and Misha. That's a long process, it was TI, he was there, close, and we wouldn't have made it to TI10 without him. That's where I would put my coaching ability and my experience, it goes through them. It's the talks that we have, it's the things that we share. But other than that, I've been pretty hands-off. We've been trying to build a car so it can drive, we are not building the car so we drive it. That's been the whole goal of the year for Ceb and me.” said N0tail when talking about his involvement with the current OG roster.

With regards to the current roster’s future going forward, N0tail admitted that the team needed time to think following its elimination from TI11. As for his own plans, he stated that he might need more time to think about his return to the professional scene.

“For me, I don't know. I need some time as well. I'm excited for the next summer for sure. I really loved having a summer, because I didn't have a summer for 10 years. Dota took away all the summer months from me, and I was living in Denmark too, so the summer was short and brief. This year, I had a summer, and I want that again. That's all I know. I need my summer.” said N0tail.

At this time, N0tail is currently still on hiatus from the competitive scene however he might make an announcement about his professional career following the conclusion of TI11.
