Johan "N0tail" Sundstein is unquestionably the most successful Dota 2 player of all time. The OG founder boasts four Valve Major wins and two wins at The International Dota 2 Championships (TI8 and TI9) which has resulted in him winning $7.18 Million USD in prize winnings from these events.

One player who has been a major part of this journey and success is Sébastien "Ceb" Debs, who joined OG as a coach and went on to become one of the most successful Dota 2 players in history. This was reaffirmed by N0tail who went on to state that he considers Ceb as the greatest player of all time in Dota 2 in one of his recent Twitch streams.

N0tail elaborates on why he thinks Ceb is the greatest of all time

In a recent Twitch stream, N0tail was asked who he thinks is the best pro player. Without hesitation, N0tail instantly said that it was Ceb.

“Ceb, I think he is the GOAT,” he said. “But everybody has talents, you know? Topson could be the GOAT tomorrow, he definitely has that potential. But for now I would say that Ceb has put more energy, time, and things into the game which have led him to be [the GOAT]. Topson could probably do 20 things that nobody else can do, but Ceb will always be my first pick on a team.

Earlier this month, Ceb himself had stated that he considered Team Secret’s captain Clement "Puppey" Ivanov as the GOAT of Dota 2. Ceb explained that Puppey’s longevity as one of the most skillful and proficient Dota 2 pro players without experiencing any burn out is what cemented him as the GOAT in his eyes.

In any case, all three players are viewed as some of the finest Dota 2 players in the world and have incredible legacies with multiple Majors and TI wins over the years.

As far as we are concerned, they all have a case to be considered as the GOAT of Dota 2 and we’re just happy to have witnessed their incredible achievements and play over the years.
