Johan "N0tail" Sundstein is currently on hiatus following the conclusion of The International 2021 (TI10), claiming a top eight finish.
On OG’s Monkey Business podcast, Shannon "SUNSfan" Scotten asked the former OG captain if he would return to the competitive scene.
N0tail responded by saying that despite the new patch, he would like to spend the summer relaxing despite next season of the DPC looking good, timew.

As of late, four out of five players in OG’s TI winning roster had made appearances in LAN tournaments either as a stand-in or a coach. However, the only person missing was none other than OG’s talisman Johan "N0tail" Sundstein. During the newest episode of OG’s Monkey Business podcast, N0tail talked with guests of the podcast Shannon "SUNSfan" Scotten and Troels Lyngholt "syndereN" Nielsen about the possibility of returning to competitive play after The International 2022 (TI11).

While saying that he has not played Dota 2 in more than four months, he hinted at a possible return for the next season of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC).

N0tail wants to enjoy his break before returning to active play next season.

Despite making an appearance as an analyst for GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022, N0tail has been absent from the public eye throughout the whole DPC 2021/22 season. The former-OG captain is currently taking a break after The International 2022 and can often be seen co-hosting with OG CEO JMR Luna on the Monkey Business podcast.

In the newest episode of OG’s Monkey Business podcast Episode 38 featuring the caster duo of Shannon "SUNSfan" Scotten and Troels Lyngholt "syndereN" Nielsen, N0tail said that he has not played the new 7.32 patch before revealing that he has barely play Dota 2 for almost four months.

“Bro, I have not played a match in four months I think. I’ve been watching [the competitive scene] all the time but I think I am not missing much [with the new patch]. I wanted to try out some new things with the new patch. Maybe I will play soon but at the moment, I’m not itching to play.” said N0tail when asked about the new patch.

SUNSfan proceeded to ask about N0tail’s long break from the competitive Dota 2 scene, before asking if he would like to come back soon. N0tail responded by saying that “I don’t know. Time-wise, next season of the DPC looks good to be fair but I want to spend the summer not playing. I hope that the schedule [for TI11] stays the same, so that I can spend the summer as this will be my first summer not grinding Dota 2 since I became a professional player.”

N0tail also added that he had spent his break by doing outdoor activities as well as gardening. “It’s kind of nice, not going to lie. If you get the groove of it, you get your tan built up so you don’t just burn 1-2 hours and it’s a lot less stressful. I also did gardening as well, I’m a worm farmer now. [laughs]” N0tail noted when asked about his hobbies off the computer.

As of now, if all goes well the community can perhaps see the sunflower of OG returning to active play following the conclusion of The International 2022. However as of now, N0tail will continue to enjoy his long overdue break.
