Igor "iLTW" Filatov recently talked about his departure from European based organization Nigma Galaxy during a recent livestream. Once known as one of the up and coming players, iLTW was expected to hit the ground running upon joining the team after playing for some of the biggest organizations such as OG, Virtus.pro & Team Spirit. However, after spending more than a year iLTW left Nigma Galaxy as he previously stated that he had begun to experience depression as time passed due to receiving a great deal of criticism.

“Either I was going to get kicked or someone else was” - iLTW describes his departure from Nigma Galaxy

During his recent livestream according to cybersports.ru, iLTW reflected on his departure from Nigma Galaxy after spending more than a year. While iLTW has had a decent amount of success during his year-long stay with a third place finish at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022, the rest of his time at Nigma Galaxy was filled with turmoil as he became the constant target for negative criticism due to his bad performances.

iLTW noted that he knew that his time with the team was slowly running out, as he asked the team manager for a plane ticket to travel back to his home. “We were losing really hard. I get up and say to the manager: "Mohamed [team manager], will you buy me a ticket [plane back home]?" I knew that was it.” he said.

The Russian carry also said that he wanted to go out on his own terms, as he did not want to wait around to get kicked out of the team. “Either I was going to get kicked or someone else was going to get kicked, not the point. Playing was unreal, just impossible. I wasn't told, "We're kicking you, that's it, ***." I kind of knew I was going to get kicked, so I took the first step.” he added.

While iLTW is currently spending his free time as a livestreamer, many expected the player to be picked up by an organization later during the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season.
