Team Secret recently announced the departure of its longest-serving mid-laner, Michał "Nisha" Jankowski following its recent competitive season.
Multiple Dota 2 personalities such as Gorgc & Nine reacted to the news, saying that Nisha’s departure would leave a huge impact on the team’s performance going forward.
Gorgc also stated that despite the departure of Nisha, Team Secret should not be underestimated in the upcoming season.

Team Secret announced yesterday that it has mutually agreed to part ways with its decorated mid-laner Michał "Nisha" Jankowski following a three year stint with the team. While many were still shocked by the news, others including multiple Dota 2 personalities gave their own opinions regarding the departure of Nisha from Team Secret.

This includes the likes of Dota 2 livestreamer Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski & The International 2022 (TI11) champion Leon "Nine" Kirilin, who were live streaming on Twitch when the news broke out.

Nine & Gorgc noted that Nisha’s replacement in Team Secret would be seen as a downgrade.

During a recent livestream, Dota 2 streamer & Team Bald Reborn captain Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski reacted to news of Nisha’s departure from his team.

He first started off by saying that depending on who Team Secret recruits to replace Nisha, the player would be seen as a downgrade. However, he also stated that the community should not underestimate the organization’s capabilities of creating a great roster, as team captain Clement "Puppey" Ivanov is capable of creating great rosters out of unproven talents.

“What do I think of Nisha leaving Secret? I feel like whoever they get as a replacement, it would be seen as a downgrade. However, if you think about previous Secret rosters, like Puppey managed to get 3rd place at TI10 and then MATUMBAMAN & Zai left. But he still managed without them by recruiting players from different regions to get 2nd place at TI11 and now he’s losing Nisha. I would not underestimate Team Secret next year.”

On the other side, TI11 champion Leon "Nine" Kirilin reacted to the announcement by saying that Nisha’s departure is a huge blow for Team Secret. However, he also felt that Puppey could guide Nisha’s replacement into becoming the best mid-laner in the world.

“Nisha leaving Secret? I think it is a huge blow for Secret. I think they might be a lot worse [in the upcoming season] depending on who they get as his replacement. Nisha was their risk player, for sure. But we’ll see how they do in the future. I think Puppey has this magic of creating great rosters.”

As of now, there is no official news of who will be replacing Nisha in Team Secret. However, according to rumors Team Secret could be looking to either recruit Artour "Arteezy" Babaev back into the fold or other players that are currently free agents in the transfer market.
