Southeast Asia continues to provide surprising storylines as Fnatic are still struggling to get its first win of the season.
The second SEA DPC match of the day saw Fnatic going up against newly established side Bleed Esports, with both teams looking for their first win in the league.
However, Fnatic ended up losing 2-0 to hand Bleed Esports their first victory of the season.

Fnatic continues to struggle in the latest iteration of the Southeast Asia Dota Pro Circuit (SEA DPC) season following another 2-0 defeat to newly established Bleed Esports. During the off-season, Fnatic parted ways with explosive carry Marc "Raven" Fausto and team captain Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong following a disappointing 2021/2022 DPC season.

While the team managed to find replacements in the form of Kim “Gabbi” Santos and Damien “kpii” Chok, the team is currently struggling to find its first win in the regional league.

Fnatic vs Bleed Esports: Match recap and highlights

Recap

Both teams had already lost their opening matches on Monday, with Fnatic recently suffering an embarrassing defeat against Geek Slate while Bleed Esports unfortunately lost a full best of three against Blacklist International.

Still looking for their first win of the season, both Fnatic and Bleed are looking to get one over the other.

Game One

The early game went in favor of Bleed Esports, as Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong’s Drow Ranger and Natthaphon "Masaros" Ouanphakdee’s Timbersaw were picking off Fnatic’s heroes all over the map.

During the mid-game phase, Fnatic’s item timings on its core heroes allowed them to dominate teamfights with Kim "Gabbi" Santos’s Templar Assassin leading the way as they claimed the Aegis of Immortality.

However, despite Fnatic’s advantage, Bleed were able to hold their ground as they managed to turn things around with a successful base defense. Game One ended after just over 44 minutes as Fnatic tapped out.

Game Two

Fnatic were looking to step up in Game Two as it picked up Lina for Gabbi and Batrider for Armel “Armel” Tabios while Bleed Esports retained the Drow Ranger for JaCkky.

The early game once again went in the way of Bleed Esports, as Masaros’s Broodmother dominated his lane while JaCkky managed to build on his net-worth advantage. However as the game progressed, Fnatic were slowly able to recover from Bleed’s early game aggression.

With the momentum now heavily in Fnatic’s favor, the team were waiting for the perfect moment to deliver the decisive blow. However, the moment never came as Bleed Esports turned around a 23K net-worth deficit to grab the victory against Fnatic with a clean 2-0 sweep after a long 64 minutes.

While Bleed Esports finally managed to get its first win of the season, things are looking bad for Fnatic following its second loss in a row as many criticized Gabbi for his poor positioning in the previous two matches while also predicting that Fnatic might be in danger of being relegated to Division II if things do not improve in the weeks to come.
