Following Talon Esports’s victory in The International 2022 (TI11) Southeast Asia (SEA) Regional Qualifiers, Kim "Febby" Yong-min interviewed Damien ``kpii" Chok during his livestream.
According to kpii, the biggest changes in Dota 2 following the release of Patch 7.32 is the experience gained per level.
He also noted that Rafli "Mikoto" Rahman is the team’s best player throughout the SEA Qualifiers.

In The International 2022 (TI11) Southeast Asia (SEA) Regional Qualifiers, Talon Esports defeated Polaris Esports in the Grand Finals with a 3-2 scoreline. Immediately following the Grand Final victory, Damien "kpii" Chok was interviewed by his former teammate and close friend, Kim "Febby" Yong-min, on a livestream. Kpii & Febby played together on MVP Phoenix in 2015 and on Mineski in 2018.

While Febby mostly asked random questions unrelated to kpii’s victory in the SEA regional qualifiers, he did ask a few questions related to the recent patch and his opinions on his team.

Kpii thinks that Mikoto is currently the best player on Talon Esports

Talon Esports did not disappoint in the TI11 SEA Regional Qualifiers as it went on to win a direct invite to TI11 after its Grand Finals victory against Polaris Esports in a best of five thriller. Right after the game ended, Kpii was interviewed by Febby during the latter’s livestream.

When Febby asked kpii about his feelings throughout the qualifiers, kpii responded by saying that he felt pressured every game during the qualifiers as a single mistake could have cost him a chance at TI.

“I mean, it would be a lie if I say no. I mean every game I felt the pressure, like the last game [against Polaris Esports] when we were kinda behind [in net worth] I was kind of nervous. It was kind of scary.” kpii said.

Kpii also answered another question from Febby regarding the team’s best player throughout the qualifiers. Kpii said that his team’s mid laner, Rafli "Mikoto" Rahman was the overall MVP of Talon Esports. “Overall, I would say Mikoto. He played well.”

Febby also asked kpii about the biggest difference from the last patch, following the release of the 7.32 patch. Kpii responded by saying that the experience gained was reduced with the new patch’s release, making it easier to itemize during the laning phase. He also said that Marci, Undying and Enigma are his top three heroes in the offlane for the current patch.

“I would say XP [experience]. It’s just less XP, 4Head. The lane [laning phase] gets slower, you get to do things much later, the enemy mid laner will come for you much later than expected. I think killing heroes means something now. As for the top three offlane heroes in this patch? I would say Marci, Undying and Enigma.” kpii noted.

Kpii and Talon Esports will not join the recently announced BTS Pro Series Season 12, most likely due to the recent TI11 SEA Regional Qualifiers. However, the community can expect to see the team in the TI11 Group Stage which starts on 15th Oct.
