He said that he did not want to be misunderstood and that he is not a supporter of the ongoing 'conflict'.

Entity’s carry player Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko has apologized for drawing a pro-war symbol ‘Z’ in the official Eastern European Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I Playoffs. Pure and his team (Virtus.Pro) were disqualified from the tournament and the player received flak from all corners of the internet for his actions, with Félix “xQc” Lengyel calling Pure’s actions “Yikes” and adding that politics shouldn’t be a part of video games.

Pure ended up being fired from the Virtus.Pro organization for his actions, following which Entity signed the player. However, many Dota 2 fans criticized this move pointing out that Pure was yet to apologize for his actions.

Pure apologized for his actions in a Twitter post with the caption: “I will start by saying I am going to be a better person. Peace to everyone.”

“I would like to say sorry for what I’ve done and I want to apologize to everyone who I’ve hurt,” said Pure in a video posted on his Twitter handle. “I don’t want people to misunderstand me, I am not a supporter of the conflict and I hope that I can still be a part of the Dota 2 community,” he added.

Pure will be making his debut in Entity colors against Gaimin Gladiators in its first match of the Western European DPC 2021/22 Tour 3. The Entity lineup for this game will be:

  • Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko

  • Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau

  • Tobias "Tobi" Buchner

  • Vladislav "Kataomi`" Semenov

  • Dzmitry "Fishman" Palishchuk

The player will be replacing Remco "Crystallis" Arets in the Entity lineup and will be aiming for a place at the PGL Arlington Major 2022. Considering the strength of the Western European region, it is going to be a challenging task for Pure and Entity.
