NaVi vs BetBoom Team: Match recap

Going into the series, the community looked at BetBoom Team as the favorite to win the series against NaVi even though NaVi had defeated the team in the Upper Bracket Semi Finals earlier in the qualifiers.

Game One

In Game One BetBoom drafted Weaver, Queen of Pain (QOP) and an offlane Death Prophet while NaVi went for a lineup of Drow Ranger, Batrider and the recently added Primal Beast in the Captain’s Mode supported by Snapfire.

While the early game was stable between both teams, BetBoom’s late game draft was stronger as the mobility of Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin’s Weaver and Denis "Larl" Sigitov’s QOP was effective in team fights as they caught NaVi’s heroes off guard. Furthermore, Death Prophet’s tankiness allowed BetBoom to survive the early onslaught from NaVi. The game ended in exactly 30 minutes as NaVi succumbed to BetBoom in Game One.

Game Two

Game Two saw BetBoom getting its revenge on NaVi, as it drafted a snowballing draft of Zeus, Dawnbreaker and Daxak’s signature Visage while NaVi retained the Batrider for Volodymyr "Noone" Minenko but also picked up Bristleback and Mars to complete the core lineup.

The early game was a disaster for NaVi as BetBoom’s aggressive draft completely shut down NaVi, not allowing them room to breathe. Furthermore, Daxak’s Visage and Larl’s Zeus provided strong amounts of burst damage against the Bristleback, which resulted in a stomp. The game ended with BetBoom claiming the victory at the 27 minute mark.

Following this victory, BetBoom Team shall face Outsiders later today in the Grand Finals for a chance at securing a direct invitation to The International 2022 (TI11) Group Stage whereas NaVi has confirmed its place in the Last Chance Qualifiers following this defeat.
