Miracle- will miss out on ESL One Malaysia 2022 due to health issues.
As announced yesterday on Twitter, Nigma Galaxy’s carry player Miracle- will not be joining the team in Malaysia as he faces health issues, which rendered him unable to travel for the tournament. Miracle will focus on his recovery for the upcoming The International 2022 (TI11) Western Europe (WEU) Regional Qualifiers, which starts on 3rd September.
Nigma Galaxy has had an average season, after having a below average season for Tour 1 before being relegated to Division II in Tour 2 of the WEU Dota Pro Circuit (DPC). The team has slowly been regaining its form after picking up Syed "SumaiL" Hassan from Team Secret which helped the team to get back into Division I of the WEU DPC for next season.
Dreamocel Was Announced as Miracle-‘s Replacement for ESL One Malaysia
At first, the community thought that Nigma Galaxy might ask its Southeast Asian counterpart, Nigma Galaxy SEA for a player as a stand-in. However, the European team decided to instead announce the arrival of Indonesian free agent, Randy "Dreamocel" Sapoetra as Miracle- 's replacement during the whole tournament.
Dreamocel previously played for Boom Esports before being released from the roster in 2021. He mainly focused on live streaming for the majority of the DPC season while having a stint with The Apes E-sport as a stand-in back in April 2022. It will be interesting to see Dreamocel back in the scene, even as a stand-in for Miracle- as Dreamocel is currently a free agent.
Nigma Galaxy will be playing later today as they will face off against TSM first in their group stage before facing off against Team Liquid in the final series of the day.
