Dota 2 is Giving Away a Free Arcana to All Active Players to Celebrate TI11

Dota 2 Players are in for a big surprise as Valve has just announced that it is giving away multiple free gifts (including an Arcana) to celebrate The International 2022 (TI11). Valve is giving away a level 1 Battle Pass (or 24 levels to Battle Pass owners), one month of Dota Plus, and a free Arcana from the Dota 2 store to hype the Dota fans ahead of the finals.

“Our goal is to harness the excitement of The International Grand Finals and ensure that the days and weeks following the event's conclusion offer fans the very best time to play Dota,” said Valve in its announcement of the ‘The International Swag Bag.’

There is one catch though, players will have to play (or have played) at least 10 Dota matches during the Battle Pass season which is said to last until January 2023.

How to claim ‘The International Swag Bag’ in Dota 2?

It is a fairly straightforward process to claim the three freebies that Valve is offering to its players:

• One month of Dota Plus.

• A Level 1 Battle Pass, redeemable for 24 Battle Levels if you already own a Battle Pass.

• Your choice of one Arcana from any available on the Dota 2 store.

1. Update the Dota 2 client

2. If you have played at least 10 games this Battle Pass season, you will be greeted with the screen below. If not, then go ahead and play 10 games of Dota 2 before the Battle Pass ends.

3. Click on the ‘claim’ icon below the ‘30 days of Dota Plus’ to acquire your 30 days of free Dota Plus subscription.

4. Then to claim the Battle Pass or the 24 Levels, click on the claim icon below the Level 1 Battle Pass. A Battle Pass or a 24 Level Bundle will now be added to your inventory.

5. To claim the Arcana, click on the Select Arcana button. You will be greeted with this message.

6. Pick the Arcana you want from this list and select claim Arcana to add it to your inventory. 

Note: Arcanas like Queen of Pain, Windranger, Earthshaker, IO, Faceless Void, Wraith King, and Spectre that were exclusive to Battle Pass owners cannot be redeemed.

Additionally, the Arcanas you receive are not marketable or tradeable.

Valve also announced that part two of the 2022 Battle Pass will release on November 3rd and will bring the new 'Conduit of the Blueheart' Crystal Maiden persona along with a new Diretide event mode, the Candyworks with it.
