In a recent livestream, Evil Geniuses support Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen answered the viewer’s question regarding the best position four players besides himself at the moment. Before responding to the question, Cr1t acknowledged that he’s not the best position four player at the moment..
“I’m not delusional, guys. I know I’m not the best pos 4 player right now. You guys think I might have some big ego and I think I’m the best in the world right now but I’m not, don’t worry guys.” said Cr1t- at the start of the question while being humble in regards to criticism.
He later revealed that he thinks that both Miroslaw "Mira" Kolpakov from Team Spirit and Zhao "XinQ" Zixing from PSG.LGD are the best position fours players in the current scene at the moment, but also could not choose between the two as both players did relatively well despite their performances during the Grand Finals of the PGL Arlington Major 2022.
“I think it’s kinda hard to tell, because the finals [Grand Finals of Arlington Major] went like it did and because they [Mira & XinQ] have different playstyles, like Mira and XinQ but they’re both pretty good at what they do.” said Cr1t- while revealing his thoughts on the best position four players at the moment.
Cr1t- also mentioned that Ye "BoBoKa" Zhibiao of Team Aster had an outstanding performance during the PGL Arlington Major 2022, and that the player supposedly overperformed throughout the whole competition. Aster finished in third place at the Arlington Major which helped the team qualify for The International 2022 (TI11).
“I think BoBoKa had a good tournament, I think he had a very good tournament. I think he overperformed compared to the other two [Mira & XinQ], I think BoBoKa is one of the pos 4 players that played above what he usually does at the Major.” Cr1t- added when giving his opinion on BoBoKa as a worthy mention.
At the moment, Cr1t- along with Evil Geniuses are taking a short break following their qualification to TI11 after the Arlington Major. The team also decided to not participate in ESL One Malaysia 2022 should they qualify due to their captain, Tal “Fly” Aizik’s family issues who could only attend halfway throughout the tournament should EG qualify.
