Highlights
The Chinese DPC League is expected to resume on April 12th.
The league was postponed because of a citywide lockdown in Shanghai, where most Chinese DPC teams and the Perfect World DPC China production studios are located.
Earlier, it was announced that the league would resume on April 8th.

Perfect World has announced that the Chinese Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021/22 League matches which were postponed earlier last week due to a citywide lockdown in Shanghai, will resume on April 12th. It was previously announced that the league would resume on April 8th.

The Chinese DPC League is currently suspended with both Division 1 and Division 2 teams on a hiatus from competing in the official league.

Chinese DPC League to Restart on April 12th

Earlier in March, the organizers of the China DPC 2021/2022 (Perfect World) announced the postponement of all matches, which were to be held from March 29 to April 8. The reason for this was a citywide lockdown in Shanghai, where most Chinese Dota 2 teams and the Perfect World DPC China production studios are located. The quarantine will impose significant restrictions on participants and organizers, so games cannot not be played during this period.

However, the current lockdown situation in Shanghai has caused the restart date to be further pushed back. Perfect World stated that it discussed the matter with Valve and decided to reschedule the tentative restart date to April 12th. The schedule will also be revealed at a later date.

The Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022: Season matches for China were originally scheduled to take place online from March 15 to April 22. However, these recent postponements could extend the league by a few more days

Eight teams in the first division are playing for $280,000 in prize money and one of four slots in the Stockholm Major 2022 which is scheduled to take place from May 12 - 22. Hence, the organizers will be looking to finish the Chinese DPC League as quickly as possible to enable qualified teams to sort out their VISAs without hassle.
