It was recently announced that Sébastien "Ceb" Debs will be a second coach for OG at the upcoming TI11.
However, OG CEO JMR Luna stated that Ceb will take a more managerial role during his time in Singapore.
The French offlaner noted that he is looking forward to bonding with the team more during its boot camp in Malaysia.

Sébastien "Ceb" Debs continues to take “one last ride” despite having announced his retirement after The International 2021 (TI10) as the two time TI winner joins his former team in a coaching capacity for the upcoming The International 2022 (TI11) in Singapore. Ceb also joined Johan "N0tail" Sundstein and OG CEO JMR on the latest episode of OG’s Monkey Business podcast.

During the podcast, Ceb talks about his plans to join the team at the boot camp and his feelings about the team, after having spent time with the team at both Majors during the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season.

Ceb to take an analyst role at TI11 with OG

Sébastien "Ceb" Debs was recently announced as OG’s second coach during The International 2022 (TI11) on Twitter. However, it turned out that Ceb will have more responsibilities within the team during its time in Singapore as revealed by OG CEO JMR Luna on the newest episode of the OG’s Monkey Business podcast.

JMR Luna said that OG’s team in Singapore will consist of the five players and their coach, Evgenii “Chuvash” Makarov. However, he also revealed that Ceb will be taking a role in the team not only as the second coach, but also as the team’s analyst and psychologist.

“So the way that we're gonna organize for this TI is that the five players and Chu [Chuvash] are gonna be the team of six , and Chu will be on the main stage with the rest of the boys. Ceb, on the other hand, is going to work as the analyst and the psychologist of the team as the last spot on the team is reserved for the team’s manager, so Ceb will be taking the last spot on the team.” said JMR Luna.

When Ceb was asked about his travel plans for the boot camp in Malaysia, he responded by saying that he planned to allow the team to build up chemistry first before his arrival, as Mikhail "Misha" Agatov had a difficult time obtaining his visa during the entire DPC season. He also stated that he would try his best to make the team comfortable while also providing advice.

“I’m flying there on Thursday, so basically giving them time to build up what they would have built if they were completely on their own which is very important because at the end, they’re going to be on the main stage on their own when the game starts. My role would be on top of that, to help them perfect it or even help them understand the flaws of how they view the game as well as understanding other teams at the same time.” said Ceb

With the addition of Ceb as an analyst/psychologist, does OG have what it takes to claim a third Aegis of Champions at TI11?
