Highlights
Erin "Yopaj" Ferrer and Rolen "Skem" Ong announced that they will be looking for other opportunities for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season.
While both players still have a contract with BOOM Esports, both of them will be joining fellow teammate Timothy "Tims" Randrup in the transfer market.
Despite their performances at TI11, many teams will be looking to get either player to bolster their own roster.

The Southeast Asian (SEA) region continues to shock the Dota 2 community. During the post-TI (The International) roster shuffle season, both Erin "Yopaj" Ferrer and Rolen "Skem" Ong from BOOM Esports have announced their availability in the transfer market. While both players are still under contract with the Indonesian organization, it seems that both players want to explore other opportunities for the upcoming season.

This news came as a surprise, as yesterday Timothy "Tims" Randrup announced that he is also looking for a new team despite negotiations for a contract renewal.

Yopaj & Skem looking for new teams as the roster shuffle season continues

As TI11 has just concluded, November will be seen by most people as the time for roster changes and rumors during the Dota 2 off-season. Many of the well-known organizations will  look to either rebuild or invest in other regions in an effort to make a name for themselves for the upcoming season.

This also includes Southeast Asia’s (SEA) very own BOOM Esports, who shall be looking for more players to fill in the gaps left by Erin "Yopaj" Ferrer and Rolen "Skem" Ong, as both players  announced their availability on Twitter.

The news came as a surprise to many BOOM Esports fans, as they were expecting the duo to stay for another season despite the team's top twelve finish at The International 2022 (TI11). While both players have stated that they still have a contract with Boom Esports, they are both looking to pursue other opportunities for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season as they joined fellow teammate Timothy "Tims" Randrup in the transfer market.

With 3 of its star players leaving, BOOM Esports will be looking to rebuild its roster for the upcoming season. However, it will  be hard for the organization to replace the likes of Yopaj & Tims since the players were instrumental in the team’s dominance within the SEA DPC during the season.

BOOM Esports’s current roster is as follows:

  • Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong

  • Saieful "Fbz" Ilham

As of now, JaCkky’s & Fbz’s contract status remains unknown. However, the remaining players might make their status known as the month goes on.
