The schedule for the group stage of the Bali Major 2023 is finally out.
Fans will be treated to five days of intense Dota 2 action across four different streams starting 29th June.
Here are the schedule, results, standings, and other details about the Bali Major’s group stage.

The Bali Major 2023 is the third and final Major of the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season and this tournament is all set to happen in Bali, Indonesia. The schedule for the group stage of the Bali Major 2023 is finally out and fans will be treated to five days of intense Dota 2 action across four different streams. Apart from the $500K USD prize pool, teams are also vying to claim the majority share of the 3,500 DPC points available to make it to The International 12 (TI12). 

The Bali Major 2023 is scheduled to kick off on 29th June and will conclude on 9th of July. The Group Stage of the tournament will be a single round-robin and all of these series will be best-of-two (BO2) games. The bottom three teams in both groups will be eliminated from play and will not advance to the Playoffs.

The Group Stage of the Bali Major 2023 kicks off on 29th June and concludes on 3rd July where the bottom three teams in Group A and B are eliminated from the tournament.

On each of the first four days of the group stage, 16 series will be played. Meanwhile, Day 5, the last day of groups, features eight series and also possible tiebreakers.

Format (29th June to 3rd July)

  • A total of eighteen teams participate

    • Western Europe (WEU) and China (CN): 4 seeds

    • Southeast Asia (SEA) and Eastern Europe (EEU): 3 seeds

    • North America (NA) and South America (SA): 2 seeds

  • Two groups of nine teams each

  • Single round-robin setup 

  • All matches are BO2

  • Top four teams from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs

  • The 5th and 6th place teams from each group advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs

  • The bottom three teams are eliminated

Note that the last three days of the tournament from 7th to 9th July will host a relatively small audience at the Champa Garden.
