Artour "Arteezy" Babaev, the carry player for Shopify Rebellion and a prominent figure in the Dota 2 community, recently shared his insights on which player he thinks has the highest level of mechanical skill in the game. Currently competing in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) North America (NA) 2023 Tour 3: Division I, Arteezy's team is considered one of the favorites to secure a spot in the highly anticipated Bali Major 2023. During a recent stream, Arteezy engaged in a discussion about the mechanical prowess of players, emphasizing that many players excel for a few years before their performance declines. However, without hesitation, Arteezy singled out Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan as the unequivocal choice for the title of the most mechanically skilled person he has ever played with or against.

Arteezy's Praise and SumaiL's Mechanical Mastery

During his recent stream, Arteezy delved into the topic of mechanical skill in Dota 2. He acknowledged the typical trajectory of players' careers, where they shine brightly for a limited time before experiencing a decline. However, when asked to identify the highest level of mechanical skill, Arteezy swiftly named SumaiL as the standout player in his eyes.

“Who’s the highest mechanically skilled player you have ever played with or against? I don’t know. Mechanically skilled is too much of a general term. The problem is that most people are not consistent. There aren't many Dota players that have been consistently good for years you know? Most people have a good year, good 2 years, good 3 years and then they’re not that hot you know? I mean emperor SumaiL, easy choice,” he said.

SumaiL's exceptional journey and redefining mechanical skill

SumaiL, renowned for his remarkable midlane performances, has left an indelible mark on the Dota 2 scene throughout his career. Following his recent victories in the DPC China 2023 Tour 3: Division I, where he dominated opponents and exhibited exceptional plays, SumaiL's reputation as a mechanical mastermind has reached new heights. His outstanding performance against formidable opponents, including a highly anticipated showdown against Somnus, demonstrated his unparalleled skill and mechanical prowess.

PSG.LGD and Team Aster: The first Bali Major qualifiers

Notably, SumaiL's Team Aster, alongside PSG.LGD has achieved the distinction of being the first team to secure qualification for the Bali Major 2023. This remarkable feat speaks volumes about their exceptional gameplay and their ability to overcome formidable opponents. As they gear up for the grand stage of the Bali Major, SumaiL's mechanical finesse, combined with the collective strength of his team, positions them as serious contenders for the championship title.

As the anticipation for the upcoming tournaments continues to build, fans eagerly await SumaiL's future performances, eager to witness his unparalleled mechanical brilliance first hand.
