Quincy Crew emerged victorious in the NA DPC Upper Division after playing the last series of the season against Undying and beating them. With this victory, Quincy Crew finishes the season undefeated in first place with an undefeated 7-0 score. EG on the other hand took a win from BlacknYellow after the latter forfeit their matchup due to medical reasons. This marks the end of the season for the NA DPC Upper Division, and Quincy Crew and EG secure the spots for the upcoming WePlay AniMajor. We narrowly avoided a repeat of last season when the top three ended up having to play tie-breakers.

NA DPC Season ends and Quincy Crew are the undefeated champions

Quincy Crew finished in second place last season after an identical performance. They, however, had trouble performing in the Major since one of their players, Arif “MSS” Anwar couldn’t make it because of medical reasons and they had to use a stand-in. This time they have taken the spot straight into the playoffs with an undefeated 7-0 W-L streak and are looking even stronger, dropping only two games in the entire season, to top three contenders EG and Undying. Their prowess and potential only keep growing.

They currently have 800 DPC points. 500 from the first-place finish this season and 300 from last season’s second-place finish. Quincy Crew will look for at least a top 8 finish in the Major for the 500 DPC points that will guarantee them a TI10 invite.

EG, on the other hand, finishes the season in second place with a 6-1 W-L score. Losing only to the champions Quincy Crew and have also defeated every other team in the Upper Division. They had a fantastic first season and finished second in the Major after a very surprising Grand Finals against Major winner Invictus Gaming. This time their second-place finish places them into the groups where they will fight to get into the playoffs and not be eliminated.

EG, unlike Quincy Crew, has already qualified for TI10 and have amassed a total of 1250 DPC points, the highest in any region so far. They do not have to worry about playing for DPC points and will have much of the pressure eased compared to other teams.
