Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon has just Tweeted that he is looking for a new team for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season that is scheduled to kick off on January 18th.

23savage Announces Search For New Dota 2 Team

23savage stated that he was looking for a team as a Position 1 player for the upcoming DPC season, which directly indicates that he will not be playing for ViCi Gaming in this season's DPC. He has also stated that he would elaborate on his situation shortly.

ViCi Gaming also addressed this departure, earlier today, stating that the imminence of the offline DPC tournament, the pressure of the epidemic at home and abroad, and the communication issues in the recent training sessions as the primary reasons behind 23savage's departure from the team.

The Chinese team also stated that the player has been officially released from his contract with VG as of January 3, 2021, and leaves the team as a free agent.

This is quite a surprising announcement, considering the fact that the young Thai star was signed by ViCi Gaming and is still yet to play a single game for the popular Chinese organization.

Despite joining ViCi Gaming in September 2020, 23savage did not make a single official appearance as a carry for ViCi Gaming. He instead played in temporary stacks or as a stand-in in various SEA tournaments. In the BTS Pro Series SEA: Season 3, he played for the Among Us stack. Later he played in two more championships with the members of Motivate.Trust Gaming.

During this time, Vici Gaming played with stand-in Yang "Erica" Shaohan.
