The big Chinese roster shuffle is looking increasingly likely, with rumors heating up across the scene. Now it looks like we have one more piece to the puzzle. It looks like Chinese carry, Wang “Ame” Chunyu will be playing for PSG.LGD after the roster shuffle.
PSG.LGD General Manager States That Ame Has Extended His Contract With The Org
According to VPEsports, PSG.LGD General manager, Pan Fei recently posted in a fan group chat, revealing that Wang “Ame” Chunyu has extended his contract with the organization. She wrote:
“The only certain thing I can tell you is that the owner of the group chat (Ame) extended the contract with us,”
Ame’s career with the LGD Gaming organization started in 2016. The player was initially recruited from CDEC Youth in 2016. He quickly grew to become one of the best carries in the Chinese region and helped PSG.LGD secure multiple Major championships and back-to-back Top 3 finishes at The International 8 and 9.
PSG.LGD Pays Tribute To Somnus ‘ M aka Maybe
Recently, PSG.LGD also posted a tribute to their midlaner Lu "Somnus’ M" Yao, aka Maybe on their official Weibo handle.
PSG.LGD’s post celebrated Maybe becoming the second player in TI history to secure 1000 kills (after SumaiL) on this day last year (18th August 2019). However, this has only furthered speculation about Somnus ‘ M leaving PSG.LGD to join the rumored 4AM Esports team. This is evidenced by the replies to the Weibo post which majorly consist of fans talking about Maybe's departure.

It has also been rumored that PSG.LGD's potential new lineup after the roster shuffles will be:
- Carry: Wang "Ame" Chunyu (Currently at CDEC)
- Mid: Guo "Xm" Hongcheng
- Offlane: Yang "Chalice"' Shenyi (Currently at CDEC)
- Soft Support: Zhou "James" Yifu
- Hard Support: Jian Wei "xNova" Yap (Currently at CDEC)
However, there is nothing concrete supporting these speculations and should be taken with a massive grain of salt.
