A listing on a Chinese website indicated that ViCi Gaming is allegedly hiring a Chinese teacher who can also speak Thai. This has lead fans to speculate that Thai carry player 23savage is joining the Chinese team, as a result. Of course, neither ViCi Gaming nor 23savage has confirmed this matter.
This information was also corroborated by Chinese Dota 2 news aggregator dotamrjz.
23savage’s current whereabouts
After his recent departure from Fnatic, 23savage has not joined any other competitive roster. However, he recently played for the Thai team Motivate.Trust Gaming as a stand in the recently concluded, Thailand Esports Championship 2020 organized by TESF, the Esports Association of Thailand. The team ended up winning the tournament.
Kaka’s Hints on New 4 Angry Men Dota 2 Lineup
Chinese news aggregator dotamrjz also added that Invictus Gaming player, Hu "kaka" Liangzhi’s stream, following repeated requests from his fans, the player talked about the new rumoured 4 Angry Men lineup. Kaka reportedly stated:
“What's the inside story on 4 Angry Men? Don't you all know it already, two LGD players plus two VG players and one person who who can't be conveniently talked about. Anyway, not convenient to say.
This one player doesn't have too good of a track record, that's all, but - higher ranking alright, higher MMR ranking! But no results, ranked high, played pro. Then, in the most recent season he has okay results. I can’t say more, that's all!”
This has lead Chinese fans to speculate that the new 4 Angry Men lineup will be:
- Eurus (ViCi Gaming)
- Somnus ‘ M aka Maybe (PSG.LGD)
- Yang (ViCi Gaming)
- Fy (PSG.LGD)
- Redpanda (Sparking Arrow Gaming)
It will be interesting to see whether these rumors come true in the upcoming days. Many of the Chinese Dota 2 contracts reportedly expire on 31st August 2020, so we should get information from more official channels in the near future.
