The rumors have been confirmed. Filipino carry Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto has joined the Fnatic Dota 2 roster, the organization announced today.

This of course also confirms that 23savage has departed from the Fnatic roster.

Raven Replaces 23savage in Fnatic

Raven will be joining Fnatic for the second time in his career. The Filipino Dota 2 carry has been in fine form recently (winning the BTS Pro Series 2: Southeast Asia and One Esports Dota 2 SEA League) and has hence been praised by many as the finest carry player in the SEA region.

The player spent over a year in the Geek Fam roster. Now, he’s joining a Fnatic roster that has the potential to become the best team that SEA has ever seen. Raven looks like the final piece of the puzzle for the SEA team to take that final step.

Fnatic’s Dota 2 manager commented on Raven’s signing by saying:

"In our pursuit to build a Southeast Asian super team and continue dominating the region, I welcome for the second time, SEA's most promising carry into our roster. He will bring a new dimension to the team and add some firepower to our already stacked roster."

Fnatic’s new Dota 2 roster will be

  • Carry: Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto
  • Mid: Kam "Moon" Boon Seng
  • Offlane: Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang
  • Soft Support: Djardel Jicko B. "DJ" Mampusti
  • Hard Support: Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong

This is Raven’s second stint in the Fnatic roster. His previous stint in the team was a bit of a disaster to put it lightly. Valve’s True Sight extensively covers Raven’s stint in the team.

Fans of the player will be hoping for this stint to be a lot smoother and better.
