Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng no longer needs to play at 200+ ping to compete with his teammates. The Malaysian player has joined OG in their European bootcamp and will be playing in the upcoming online tournaments and scrims alongside his teammates.

MidOne is in OG’s Bootcamp

Earlier today, OG’s new CEO JMR Luna posted pictures from OG’s bootcamp which showed several OG players including N0tail, Topson, MidOne and Ceb in their new habitat. Coach Sockshka can also be spotted in these images.

This of course confirms that MidOne was able to leave Malaysia and join OG in their bootcamp which means he no longer needs to play at a substantially higher ping than normal. Following SumaiL’s removal, the player will likely be playing as the carry in OG’s lineup.

American Residents are currently forbidden to travel to Europe, which means that SumaiL could not join OG in their bootcamp. Perhaps this played a part in him being removed from the team.

Martin "Saksa" Sazdov is the only OG player missing in these photographs. But considering the fact that the player is from North Macedonia (a European country), we can say that all of OG is in Europe and will now be equipped to compete with the very best in normal latency/ping.

Following SumaiL’s departure and Ceb rejoining the team, OG's complete roster will be:

  • Carry: Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng
  • Mid: Topias Miikka "Topson" Taavitsainen
  • Offlane: Sébastien "Ceb" Debs
  • Soft Support: Martin "Saksa" Sazdov
  • Hard Support: Johan "N0tail" Sundstein

Their first tournament with this new lineup will be the OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Europe CIS which kicks off on 27th July 2020. OG’s first match will be against Vikin.gg on the opening day at 08:30 PM IST | 11:00 PM SGT.
