In this trying and testing time, everyone loses their composure. Friends become arch-rivals, new alliances are forged and the memes are out on full force from all sides of the SEA Dota 2 community.

Fnatic, TNC Predator, Geek Fam, Adroit and Reality Rift are all currently engaged in a battle of wits against each other in SEA’s meme wars.

Dissecting the Meme War

The root cause of the meme wars was Fnatic allegedly 'missing' TNC Predator in recent tournaments and Qualifiers.

TNC Predator answered back in style, asking Fnatic to take a look at the DPC points table before bantering.

This lead to Fnatic breaking off their friendship with TNC Predator and teaming up with Geek Fam as their new best friends.

This, of course, didn’t sit right with Adroit Dota who was heartbroken that their best friend could break off their relationship with such ease and hook up with Fnatic. They decided to go back to their good old buddy, Reality Rift.

Reality Rift readily took back Adroit Dota with open arms.

Geek Fam right in the midst of all this drama, cleared the air between Adroit and themselves stating that they can still be friends (yeah, right? /s) and that they personally blamed TNC Predator for this breakup.

The Aftermath

Today morning Fnatic and Geek Fam exchanged good morning message to each other, clearly showing that their friendship is still in the honeymoon phase.

Meanwhile, the war between Fnatic and TNC Predator still rages on. The Filipino team posted a video signifying the breakup.

While Fnatic continued to take shots at them.

The situation between the two teams is escalating quickly towards a blowoff. What will this meme war lead to? A good old duelling contest? A match to settle their differences? Until this situation calms down, we can only watch the bloodbath from the sidelines.
