The world’s most valuable esports organisation Cloud 9 is making a return to the Dota 2 scene. Featuring some of the most accomplished players in the scene including Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen, Johan "pieliedie" Åström and some exciting SEA stars like Rolen “Skem” Ong, Jia Hao “vtFaded” Cheng this team looks like they will make waves in the Dota 2 scene.

“Ever since departing the Dota 2 space in 2017 we’ve been keeping an eye on finding the best time to re-enter and I’m glad to say it’s finally arrived. These players have had success across the world and everyone here is looking forward to what they’ll do as a team.”

Said Cloud9 CEO & Owner Jack Etienne.

The team will initially compete in the Southeast Asian region, ”but will be representing the North America region at future events.”

Cloud9's full roster will be:

  • Rolen "skem" Ong
  • Jia Hao "vtFaded" Cheng
  • Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen
  • Francis "FLee" Lee
  • Johan "pieliedie" Åström

With teams like Fnatic, TNC Predator, Geek Fam and now Cloud9 making their way into SEA, the SEA regional qualifiers for the ESL One: Los Angeles 2020 Major seems like it will be a bloodbath. We just can’t wait for it to kick off, later in February.
