LGD Gaming had announced an 'LGD.int Esports Conference' scheduled to take place in the Philippines, earlier this month. Many fans were understandably quite excited considering the sheer reputation of the LGD organisation and the potential Filipino LGD.Int Team.

Today, LGD Gaming has announced their plans for the Philippines and LGD.int.

  • They have partnered with Esportsplay Gaming — a new Philippine player in the field of esports, to scout, train, coach, and manage top support and core players from the Philippines and SEA region to compete in TI.

  • The Chinese organisation has announced that they’re setting up a training facility in Pampanga, Philippines, to help create new Filipino esports stars. Considering the fact that a training facility requires a significant amount of investment, it is clear that the LGD organisation is in it for the long run.

  • They also announced that they’re building an esports arena in Cebu, Philippines. With TNC Predator also seemingly opening up an esports facility in the region, it seems like Cebu is becoming a hotbed for Filipino Dota 2.

Later, a showmatch featuring 7 fans as well as Dota 2 professionals Lai "Ahjit" Jay Son, Wong "ChuaN" Hock Chuan and LGD Gaming’s CEO Pan “RuRu” Jie also took place in the arena.
