The ESL Clash of Nations had yet another twist to its narrative following the first appearance of Indonesia powerhouse BOOM Esports. On paper, these were the two strongest teams competing in this tournament and we were promised a cracker. However, a massive delay pushed the series back by over 3 hours.

Finally, the game got underway at 04:30 PM PHT. In it, BOOM ID used an aggressive duo of Leshrac and Bloodseeker to rip through Adroit’s well laid out plans to take it to the later stages with their Storm Spirit-Gyrocopter duo. Scoring a net-worth lead of over 20k by the 35-minute mark, they overwhelmed the Filipinos when they hit their pick timings on both cores and secured the win, moving on to the Winner Bracket Finals.

As a result of this loss, Adroit was forced into an elimination match against Reality Rift. The Flipinos were put into a dicey situation after they lost the first game to the Singaporean representatives. However, in the do-or-die scenario, they managed to hold their own and pull off two back-to-back wins to survive and eventually move on to the next stage of the tournament.

Team Adroit has a tough task ahead of them if they’re to win the ESL Clash of Nations. They have to battle their way through 3 series against some of the toughest teams in the region to claim the tournament winnings.

BOOM Esports and RRQ.Trust on the other hand are on the brink of glory, just one more win will see them competing in the Grand Finals.
