Official: Virtus.Pro confirms Resolut1on acquisition

The rumours were true after all. Arguably the most successful team in the history of the Dota Pro Circuit, Virtus.Pro have finally announced their lineup for the upcoming season, featuring Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko, Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok and Alexey "Solo" Berezin as well as two other players.

Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok will be playing in the offlane role in this new stint with Virtus.Pro.

"It was a tough month, but we decided against postponing our season entrance to a later date. I’m happy to welcome Resolut1on to the team." said Roman Dvoryankin, General Manager, "He’s a brilliant player, and we’ll do everything in our power to see his return to CIS go successfully."

Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosyan has been benched and is to be up for transfers. Virtus.Pro has also revealed that they will be competing in the first major of the season.

Russian Pubstar

Two new pubstars have been picked up by Virtus.Pro in this roster shuffle. Egor "epileptick1d" Grigorenko, the number one player in the European Leaderboards has been picked up as a stand-in carry by Virtus.Pro to play in the MDL: Chengdu Major - CIS Qualifiers.

"Egor is among the most promising young players in our region, and we’ve decided to give him a chance to prove himself." said Dvoryankin. "We’ll make the final decision about his future in the team judging by the qualifier’s results."

Anatoly “boo!k” Ivanov will continue as Virtus.Pro's coach. The fifth player to join Virtus.Pro's lineup for the upcoming MDL Chengdu Major will be announced later.

So the Virtus.Pro lineup which will be competing in the MDL Chengdu Major - CIS Qualifiers will be:
