TNC Predator Booed at the Opening Ceremony of TI9 in Shanghai

The main event of the International 2019 kicked off earlier today with an impressive opening ceremony featuring Chinese Drummers and a classical Chinese Dance as the Opening Act. We were even treated to GabeN making an appearance to give his customary “Welcome to The International” speech.

However, there was one incident which marred the whole ceremony. Whilst most of the teams were treated to roaring cheers when TNC Predator made their way on to the main stage they were greeted via boos.

We all know China’s issues with Kuku after his controversial remarks in a Pub game. The boos confirm that the Chinese audience is still quite bitter with the incident.

TNC Predator is now taking on Vici Gaming in what may perhaps be the first true derby match in Pro Dota after LGD Gaming decimated Virtus.Pro 2-0 in the first series of the day.
