Kinguin Legends will feature legendary CS:GO players like NEO, pashaBiceps, kennyS, Edward, HeatoN, and Maikelele.
The six veterans will act as the captains of their respective CS:GO teams. The lineups for the teams will be announced soon.
Kinguin Legends will be taking place from 13th to 18th September with a total prize pool of €50,000.

It is always an amazing feeling to see some of the most legendary CS:GO players enter the server once again, bringing back old memories and reminding us of the time they used to be at top of the competitive scene.

Kinguin seems to have focused on this to launch its own brand new CS:GO tournament series - Kinguin Legends, aimed at "reigniting the legendary stories of esports pros from across the world."

The tournament is scheduled to take place from 13th to 18th September and it will be featuring a total prize pool of €50,000 ($49,989 USD or INR 39,84,700).

Six veteran CS:GO players have been shortlisted as captains to compete with their own teams - Filip "NEO" Kubski, Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski, Kenny "kennyS" Schrub, Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev, Emil "HeatoN" Christensen, and Mikail "Maikelele" Bill.

Six legendary players will compete once again at the Kinguin Legends CS:GO tournament

A few Counter-Strike veterans who used to compete professionally will be seen participating in a CS:GO tournament once again.

The first season of Kinguin Legends will witness NEO, pashaBiceps, kennyS, Edward, HeatoN, and Maikelele run their own teams, competing against each other for a share of the €50,000 total prize pool.

This tournament is all set to take place next week onwards for a duration of six days from 13th to 18th September. However, the playing five by the respective captains have not been announced yet.

This is an exciting tournament with a rather unique concept. The tournament is being organized by Kinguin, who has a long history in CS:GO - having signed their own roster in 2015 under Kinguin Esports. The organization also runs a physical Esports Performance Center in Warsaw, Poland where multiple top organizations come to bootcamp and practice on a regular basis.

Kinguin Legends is the first standalone esports tournament series being organized by Kinguin and it is not going to be limited to CS:GO, which is only the first of many titles being planned under the brand.

"Kinguin Legends was created from the notion that we all remember the iconic moments in esports and the emotions associated with them. We wanted to provide a space for the community to relive those moments, with some of their favorite esports personalities, and create new equally thrilling moments to live alongside them," stated Viktor Romaniuk Wanli, founder and creative director at Kinguin.

KennyS to soon announce his CS:GO lineup

It will be interesting to see which CS:GO players do the six legendary captains pick for their respective lineups and how they match up against each other at the Kinguin Legends.
