Twistzz Overtakes Stewie2K to Become Highest Earning CS:GO Player From NA

The top-tier competitive CS:GO scene continues to be brutal towards the North American (NA) players and organizations. However, one single player who has managed to escape this curse is the talented Canadian rifler, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, who has won it all this year with the international lineup of FaZe Clan.
The 22-year-old is a hardcore North American veteran who has previously played with teams like TSM, Misfits, and Liquid. However, he has gone on to find the most amount of success with FaZe Clan by winning the IEM Katowice, PGL Antwerp Major, and IEM Cologne in the same calendar year, creating history as his team became the first CS:GO team ever to achieve this feat.
All this success has also resulted in Twsitzz becoming the highest earning CS:GO player from North America in terms of prize money earned, grossing a total of $1,207,293.10 USD (INR 9,64,36,340) till date as per Esports Earnings.

It has been a wild year for Twistzz along with FaZe Clan, skyrocketing their way to the top and snatching the throne right out of NAVI's hands, who had enjoyed an exceptionally dominant competitive circuit last year.
Running hot on a long win streak, FaZe started out by winning the spring qualifiers of BLAST Premier and followed this up with back-to-back victories at IEM Katowice 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 15.
They went on to create history by becoming the first international CS:GO lineup to win a Major - PGL Antwerp Major 2022, only to top this by winning the IEM Cologne 2022 as well and completing the golden trio in the same calendar year - first team in history to achieve this.
All this combined has resulted in Twistzz achieving a lot of success within and outside the server by being the sole representation from NA across all the big tournaments this year.
By winning huge sums of prize money, Twistzz has also managed to overtake Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip ($1,186,573.20 USD) as the highest earning CS:GO player from North America by a difference of $20,720 USD (INR 16,55,075).
