GODSENT signs European female CS:GO roster
GODSENT has had a bumpy 2021 season so far when it comes to competitive CS:GO. After its former roster was signed by FunPlus Phoenix, GODSENT picked up a new Brazilian lineup with Epitácio "TACO" de Melo leading the squad.
Despite a rough start, the team has started performing well in the Tier-2 North American scene, winning quiet a few tournaments in their last few outings. However, the team has yet to break into the international scene which still requires them to put up a few good performances.
While its men's team is still building strength, GODSENT has announced a European female roster as well. This new lineup will be playing under the name GODSENT Female and consists of the following players,
Hege "Hedje" Botnen
Aurora "Aurora" Lyngdal
Vanessa "Nessa" Ahlström
Ana "Zana" Queiroz
Mayline-Joy "Astra" Champliaud
This is actually the former BiFrost Blue lineup, with whom the team competed for about four months before being acquired by GODSENT.
The lineup is a good mix of experienced and young players. Both Hedje (34) and Aurora (25) are veteran players that have competed professionally for a long time now. While the former has previously represented teams like LGB Esports Female and Planet Odd Female, the latter has also played for Do You Even and Singularity Female.
With young players like Nessa, Zana, and Astra joining them, it adds more firepower and energy to the team, which has the potential to shake up the best teams from across the world.
