S1mple talks about how Na'Vi was able to play through a marathon on the final day at StarLadder CIS RMR 2021.
Na'Vi lineup played two CS:GO series on the final day of the tournament, beating Spirit '2-1' and Gambit '3-2'.
S1mple was the MVP of the tournament with an overall K/D of +157 across a total of 23 maps.

The main player for Na'Vi during their crucial run through the StarLadder CIS RMR 2021, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev had a lot to share about what the team was going through during their stunning '3-2' reverse sweep against Gambit Esports in the grand final. This was the third time that Na'Vi went up against Gambit in the finals of a CS:GO tournament, now leading their head-to-head finals faceoff score '2-1', previously winning DreamHack Masters Spring 2021. S1mple who was the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the tournament with an overall HLTV rating of 1.35 further shared his prediction for the upcoming IEM Cologne 2021, while giving his views on the latest competitive map Ancient also.

S1mple Talks About Na'Vi's Comeback Against Gambit

Na'Vi played through a marathon of seven CS:GO games, three against Team Spirit in the lower bracket finals and four against Gambit Esports in the grand final, one win was awarded to Gambit by default. But the Na'Vi players did not go down easy, winning the second CIS RMR 2021 event by fighting fiercely through Dust 2, Mirage, and Inferno against a formidable looking Gambit.

Speaking on how Na'Vi managed to power through the two down to the wire series, s1mple in a post match interview said that,

Somehow we tried to cheer each other in order to keep our strength for Gambit. Maybe somehow my performance against Team Spirit on the third map (Inferno) helped the guys keep their strength. Although each player made a lot of impact, both Electronic and Valeriy (B1T) destroyed Gambit on Mirage. Kirill (Boombl4) gave very important calls, especially on inferno.

S1mple on IEM Cologne 2021

The first proper CS:GO LAN tournament since the competitive circuit shifted online is all set to take place in Cologne from tomorrow which is 6th July 2021. S1mple had a few predictions and hope when speaking about the event and what Na'Vi aims to accomplish there,

Firstly, I hope everyone will make it (for the event), including the CIS teams. I think the chances are good, for two or even three teams (CIS) to enter the top 8. As for me, this will be a regular tournament and the only thing that will be different is that everyone will have the same ping and equal conditions. I expect that we (Na'Vi) will play the grand final at least. And I hope it will be against Gambit, every game with them is intense.

S1mple About The New Competitive CS:GO Map Ancient

Giving his opinion on the latest competitive CS:GO map s1mple revealed that he personally really likes this map. He goes on to say that Na'Vi has studied the map well but still haven't prepared game on it. He feels overall it is a cool map which definitely requires a few set of changes, as it is quite difficult to plant the C4 especially on the 'A-Site' where everything is "too open". However, s1mple does agree that Ancient as a map offers variety to competitive Counter-Strike.
