Talking about NAVI's performance s1mple said that his absence from the last bootcamp didn't give everyone time to prepare for their new game plan with him.
NAVI has three weeks to train before they appear in the playoffs on either 27th or 28th September.

It has not been a great week for Natus Vincere (NAVI) playing through the 'Group-A' of ESL Pro League Season 16. The team started off with a couple of wins but things quickly went south as it dropped three consecutive matches to barely qualify for the playoffs.

Most shocking of its three defeats was the one against Endpoint, the only match where NAVI was clean-swept by the opponents. It was also the start of the team's crash leading to a poor third place finish in the group stage.

Talking about the team's performance in a post-match interview, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostylev pointed out that him not having attended the recent bootcamp held by NAVI affected the team's overall gameplay.

S1mple comments on NAVI's poor run through the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16

Being the number one ranked CS:GO team in the world, the majority of the community had expected NAVI to top the leaderboards and come out as the winner of 'Group-A'.

Unfortunately, what unravelled for the team was far from this. Not only did the team drop three matches in a row, but even its star player s1mple struggled to find his rhythm which resulted in a poor individual showing from him.

NAVI just manages to qualify for playoffs of EPL S16

Speaking about NAVI's performance following its final match against Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), which it lost by a '1-2' scoreline, s1mple explained that the team simply didn't have enough time to prepare with him.

"We didn't have time to prepare our new game with me because NAVI had a bootcamp with headtr1ck (Danyyl Valitov). It's good that according to the results (group stage), we made it to the playoffs. There were unexpected losses against EndPoint, Vitality, and NIP," said s1mple, "We just need more time to prepare, hopefully next time we will beat them."

Talking about how NAVI plans on preparing for the upcoming playoffs stage of the ESL Pro League Season 16, s1mple revealed that the team will not be hosting a bootcamp and will just focus on having good training sessions across the next three weeks.

NAVI will be starting out from the 'round of eight'. The match will take place on either 27th or 28th September. It will be interesting to see if NAVI is able to adjust in these three weeks to deliver match winning performances or does their slump continue ahead.
