PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 Opening Stage is all set to take place from 17th to 20th March 2024.
16 out of the 24 qualified teams will compete in the Opening Stage but only the top eight will make it through to the Elimination Stage.
All matches will be played offline but only Playoffs will be held in front of a live audience at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.

PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 is all set to take place from 17th to 31st March 2024 featuring a total prize pool of $1,250,000 USD which will be split between all the 24 competing teams that have qualified for the tournament through their respective regional qualifiers.

All participants were segregated into two groups - Elimination Stage consisting of eight teams and Opening Stage comprising 16 teams.

The entire tournament will be played on LAN with Playoffs set to take place at the Royal Arena, Copenhagen, Denmark in front of a live audience.

The Opening Stage of the PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 is scheduled to take place from 17th to 20th March 2024, taking place across a total of four days with the top eight teams qualifying ahead to the Elimination Stage.

Out of the 24 teams qualifying for the Major, 16 will start from the Opening Stage, but only eight will move ahead while others will be eliminated.

PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 Opening Stage: Format

  • A 16-team Swiss System format will be followed.

  • Elimination and Qualification matches will feature a best-of-three series.

  • All other matches will be a single-match series.

  • The top eight teams will proceed to the Elimination Stage.

  • The bottom eight teams will be eliminated from the Major.

PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 Opening Stage: How to Watch

Two live broadcasts of the tournament will run simultaneously for the first two stages, Opening and Elimination, after which only a single stream will run with teams competing in front of a live audience at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Both the primary and secondary stream will run in three languages across Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Kick.


Only the final stage, Playoffs, of PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 will be played in front of a live audience at the Royal Arena, a multi-use indoor arena with a maximum capacity of 13,000 spectators for sporting events.

It will be interesting to see if Team Vitality can defend its crown in Copenhagen, Denmark against some of the best teams from around the world or will a new CS2 champion be crowned this time around.
