Aleksey “xaoc” Kucherov - COO of NAVI, gave further details about this decision taken by them, explaining that flamie has been given the status of a free agent because the RMR (Regional Major Ranking) system does not allow the implementation of a six-man roster.

He further acknowledged flamie's contribution to the club and said that,

We have decided to give flamie the status of a free agent, so he doesn't come across possible restrictions for his further development. Despite the fact that Egor is a NAVI veteran, he is young, motivated, experienced, and has fantastic AIM. These characteristics are definitely demanded in ambitious teams.

NAVI had brought in Valerii "b1t" Vakhovskyi in December 2020, following which he and flamie were rotated based on map selection up until the first RMR event of 2021. Here, NAVI had to make a tough decision and they ended up going with b1t, which has actually turned out to be a great decision for the team.

Flamie was recently seen playing in a local online CS:GO tournament called INSANE FASTCUP #1 with a pickup team called Bebra Esports, consisting of Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov and popular Russian twitch streamer Vyacheslav "buster" Leont'ev.

It will be interesting to see what offers flamie gets and where he ends up going following his performance with NAVI Junior.
