The current captain of the Cloud9 CS:GO team, Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov, seems to be facing some problems with his hand during practice. The 21-year-old opened up about this during a recent stream session on Twitch, where he elaborated on some of the symptoms while explaining when the issue usually triggers.

Nafany before talking about the potential injury did specify that he had not consulted a doctor about the problem for his hand so far. Many viewers then suggested to immediately go in for a check-up and seek the help of a medical professional.

One of the best decisions made by North American esports organization, Cloud9, was to quickly pounce on the opportunity and sign the former Gambit Esports CS:GO roster, including their coach, analyst, and even the team's manager.

Though the team fell short at the PGL Antwerp Major 2022, it did go on to win IEM Dallas 2022, helping Cloud9 finally break the curse by winning a CS:GO tournament for the first time since ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018 which was more than four years ago.

While the team is doing well in the ongoing Roobet Cup 2022, it seems their captain is facing some problems with his hand. During a recent Twitch stream, the 21-year-old revealed that his arm has started hurting during practice and at times even some of his fingers go numb.

"My arm is starting to hurt now because I have been playing DM (Deathmatch) for 30 minutes," said Nafany during the stream, "When playing in official matches, this never happens to me. Two fingers go numb, I don't know how to explain."

Nafany further confessed that he has had this problem for a long time and it mostly occurs during training, due to which he is forced to take breaks sometimes. He has not consulted any doctors about the issue so far, but this problem could be a potential injury as it apparently hinders his gameplay, "It's hard for me to aim, it's hard to move the scope up and down (microcontrol)."

Note: The original stream was in Russian and the English translation has been taken from Cybersport.ru.

The above symptoms listed out by Nafany seems to point towards an early onset of 'Carpal Tunnel Syndrome', but nothing can be said for sure until the player consults a medical professional. Hopefully, the player takes necessary action before the condition escalates.
