Popular YouTube streamer Ludwig received a rare and expensive knife skin in his first ever CS:GO case opening.
Ludwig got an 'M9 Bayonet | Marble Fade' knife skin worth $1000 USD after having opened a 'Chroma 2 Case'.
This was a super rare occasion because a user only has a 0.26% chance of receiving a Legendary item from any particular CS:GO case opening.

Popular YouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren was blessed with insane luck while opening his first-ever CS:GO case, receiving one of the most sought-after M9 Bayonet knife skins in the game which is roughly priced around $1,000 USD.

Either Ludwig used up all of his good luck in this one single case opening or this is what happens when all your stars align perfectly. This is because the cosmetic item obtained by Ludwig is listed under the category of 'Rare Special Item', which has a redemption chance of just 0.26%.

Most CS:GO players end up spending more than thousands of dollars in hopes of receiving similar items but still end up without one.

Ludwig receives an expensive knife skin in his first-ever CS:GO case opening

It is rare to come across a CS:GO player who has obtained an expensive and exquisite-looking knife from a case opening. However, it is almost unheard of that someone received such a cosmetic item in their first-ever case opening, well Ludwig is obviously an exception.

One of the most popular YouTube streamers, Ludwing, was the victim of a once-in-a-blue-moon occurrence, as he prepared to open the very first CS:GO case ever in his life during the 25th May livestream.

"So the best thing is rare special item, the purple [Restricted skins] things are third best, this thing [Contraband skins] is second best, and then the blue [Mil-Spec skins] is all mid," explained Ludwig to all his viewers, before casually stating, "So why don't we just get the yellow [Legendary skins] thing then."

Ludwig had made the above comment after having opened the 'Chroma 2 Case' and no sooner had he said it that he actually received the legendary skin item, which in his case turned out to be a 'M9 Bayonet | Marble Fade'.

He literally commanded the knife skin into existence for himself and made his Twitch chat explode with surprise and excitement, with many from the CS:GO community expressing how insane this actually was.

Not believing his own luck, Ludwig shouted with joy while saying "Oh my god!!! Oh my god!!! Oh my god!!! What the hell....what...that was my first box that I have ever opened in my life!"

The M9 Bayonet is a solid knife type which is quite popular amongst the player base and the Marble Fade is a great pattern to have on a knife, not only is it attractive but it also one of the more expensive patterns to have on such an item. This particular knife would easily go for around $1000 USD give or take, depending on the service being used to check its price.
