Skyesports Masters 2024: Liquid, NIP, BIG, ENCE Revealed as First Four International Invites
Skyesports Masters was established last year consisting of teams from India only. It consisted of a regular season followed by a LAN final which took place at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru, India.
Gods Reign was crowned the champion in front of a live audience and the team will try to qualify for the main event this time as well to defend its crown.
Team Liquid is one of the most popular esports teams in the world and its revamped CS2 roster has done well to qualify for multiple international tournaments till now in 2024.
NIP has had a terrible start in 2024 and currently has only two players as a part of its active lineup. The rest of the players were benched following their unsuccessful attempt at qualifying for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.
BIG is an esports organization from Germany with quite a history and has been competing in Counter-Strike for eight years now. The team has had a rough start in 2024 and this tournament may help turn around its fortune.
ENCE seems to be content with the performances it has delivered till now but a win would definitely be better. The team is in high spirits after having qualified for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and will be stepping in with the same energy.
Skyesports Masters 2024 will be running from 8th to 14th April, which unfortunately coincides with IEM Chengdu 2024. On the bright side, it enabled the organizers to invite those international teams that missed out on the opportunity to compete in the Chinese tournament, a win-win for everyone.
Four more teams will join the ones already invited, including two more direct invites and one team each from European and Indian qualifiers.
