IEM Dallas 2024: All Invited and Qualified CS2 Teams

A staple of the Intel Extreme Masters annual circuit, IEM Dallas 2024 is all set to return later this year as the 100^th IEM event. This special tournament will be a part of DreamHack Dallas 2024 and is scheduled to run from 27^th May to 2^nd June 2024, featuring a total prize pool of $250,000 USD.

It will consist of 16 teams from around the world including seven direct invites, four rank-based teams, and five competitors making their way through four regional qualifiers.

The final stage of IEM Dallas 2024 will be held in front of a live audience at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, a multipurpose arena that has a maximum capacity of 9,816 spectators.

IEM Dallas 2024 will be one of the top-tier Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournaments that will be organized by ESL as part of this year's competitive circuit.

The tournament will witness top-notch action as some of the best teams from around the world give it their absolute best to claim the top spot which also offers a direct slot in the upcoming IEM Cologne 2024.

IEM Dallas 2024 will start with the Group Stage and end with the Playoffs.

• In the Group Stage all 16 teams will be divided into two groups of eight teams each, both following a double-elimination bracket where the opening matches are best-of-one, while all remaining matches are best-of-three.

• The top three teams from each group will qualify for the Playoffs, winners directly advancing to the semifinals while the remaining teams fight through the quarterfinals.

• Playoffs will feature a single-elimination bracket where all matches will be played as a best-of-three series.

The stakes will be high as teams will be competing for a total prize pool of $250,000 USD which will be split between all participants according to their final placement, the higher a team places the more money it will be entitled to.

In addition to this, the champion will also bag a direct slot in the upcoming ESL Pro Tour Championship Tournament - IEM Cologne 2024, scheduled to take place from 7^th to 18^th August 2024.
