FC Barcelona Home Stadium Camp Nou to Host $150,000 CS:GO Tournament

The home stadium of FC Barcelona, Camp Nou, will be hosting a CS:GO tournament in October, featuring some of the best teams from across the world as they gather in Spain to compete in this offline event.
One of the most famous football venues in the world has been selected as the location for FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals by its organizers FiReSPORTS. The tournament is set to feature a total prize pool of $150,000 USD (INR 1,18,89,533) which will be split between all the eight competing teams.
The first direct invite for the tournament has been accepted by the popular Brazilian esports organization Imperial Esports. Meanwhile 9z Team has also managed to book a slot for themselves, walking in as the reigning champions from FiReLEAGUE 2021.

The organizers of FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals have managed to secure a solid location for the offline CS:GO tournament which is scheduled to take place from 13th to 16th October later this year.
FC Barcelona's home stadium is one of the most famous football venues in the world. It has the capacity to host a mammoth 99,354 spectators and was opened to the public in September 1957.
Now, it is all set to feature an offline CS:GO tournament with eight competing teams - two direct invites, three qualifying through various tournaments, and three making their way through upcoming qualifiers.
9z Team is one of the participants that has been granted a spot as they were the champions of FiReLEAGUE 2021. Apart from them, Imperial Esports has received and accepted one of the two direct invites. Now, six more slots remain to be occupied in the weeks leading up to the event.
The format of FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals consists of just one stage, directly starting with the playoffs which features a single-elimination bracket where each match will be a best-of-three series, except for the grand final which will witness a best-of-five series.
A live audience will be present for the CS:GO tournament on the final day which means the two finalists will be playing in front of a crowd at the grand Camp Nou, a mighty incredible experience!
