The eXTREMESLAND Asia Cup is coming back this year. This tournament encompasses several regions in the Asia-Pacific, including a total of 8 teams from China, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Mongolia, the Middle East, and more. The list of directly invited teams for each region will be announced from November to December, and the eXTREMESLAND CS2 Asia Cup Grand Finals will hold a total prize pool of $50,000 USD in Shanghai from 26th to 28th January 2024.
This will be the first eXTREMESLAND Asia Cup Featuring CS2
Since the inception of the first eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Cup in 2016, eXTREMESLAND has been striving for perfection every year and successfully hosted four years of the competition continuously. Both in terms of scale and influence, it has been on a constant rise, attracting more and more Counter-Stike professional players and Esports enthusiasts from across the Asia-Pacific to participate actively.
As "CS:GO" evolves into Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), the rekindled eXTREMESLAND 2023 will also keep up with the times and opens a new chapter. The all-new CS2 is said to bring the most significant technological upgrades in the history of the Counter-Strike series, aiming to provide a more thrilling and exciting gaming and competitive experience for a broad CS Esports gaming community.
As for the new gameplay and challenges that will arise from this, they will be fully demonstrated in future tournaments. The 2023 eXTREMESLAND CS2 Asia Cup, which covers multiple countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific, will participate in an overseas invite-based format this year, competing with numerous top players from various nations in Shanghai, as a warm-up for the upcoming CS2 eXTREMESLAND Open 2024. Undoubtedly, this presents a great opportunity for many talented players to enter the esports stage.
