The second week of the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 15 has finally concluded with FURIA Esports, ENCE, and FaZe Clan finally making their way through to the playoffs.
While FURIA and ENCE were at their dominant best through the entire group stage finishing with a '4-1' scoreline, FaZe Clan after facing a couple of early defeats had to really turn things around for themselves by winning all their remaining matches.
FURIA has managed to directly qualify for the quarterfinals of the playoffs after attaining the top spot in 'Group-B' while ENCE and FaZe Clan will be starting from the 'Round of 12'.
FURIA, ENCE, and FaZe qualify into the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 15
The next three CS:GO teams have booked their slots for the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 15 where a total of 12 teams will be going up against each other to crown a new champion that will be walking away with $175,000 USD in prize money along with 1300 ESL Pro Tour (EPT) points and 2800 BLAST Premier points.
FURIA Esports
The ‘Group-B’ matches of ESL Pro League Season 15 that took place from 16th to 20th March witnessed some dominating performances along with some high octane action. FURIA Esports, well prepared for it all, won their first four matches in a row to take a massive '4-0' lead.
It was the talented Brazilian rifler Yuri "yuurih" Boianas who was the standout player for the side. However, the aggressively quirky manoeuvres by Andrei "arT" Piovezan took the spotlight time and again.
FURIA won against all the teams that were a part of its group with the exception of FaZe Clan, a match that went down to the wire. The team won nine out of the 14 maps that it played, as four out its five victories were established on the back of '2-1' scorelines.
With this, the Brazilian esports organization has managed to directly qualify into the quarterfinals of the tournament and has sufficient time on its hands to prepare accordingly.
ENCE
The Finnish organization had decided to keep its core trio of Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, Lotan "Spinx" Giladi, and Paweł "dycha" Dycha intact. The move seems to have worked out really well for the team as they went on to claim the second spot following an almost perfect '4-1' run.
The standout player for the side was Spinx with an overall HLTV rating of 1.21 across 13 maps and a K/D of +57. He fought hard for the side, pulling off some great performances and helping out the team through some tough phases.
ENCE won nine out of the 13 maps that they played in the group stage, only dropping a single series to FURIA as they claimed victory against all the remaining teams.
FaZe Clan
The European mix was in quite a fix, dropping their first two matches and finding themselves in a really tight spot in order to qualify for the playoffs. FaZe lost their opening matches against ENCE and Outsiders, a huge blow following their outstanding victory at the IEM Katowice 2022.
However, the team kept trudging forward winning their next two matches against Sprout and Vitality with a clean '2-0' scoreline. With two wins and two loses, FaZe had to win their final match against a fierce FURIA in order to qualify for the playoffs.
Despite the match going down to the wire, FaZe managed to pull off an incredible '2-1' victory to see themselves through to the playoffs over Team Vitality who finished the group stage with a '2-3' result.
Broky with the AWP was the standout player for FaZe yet again, continuing to display his brilliant form following his MVP worthy performance at Katowice.
The ‘Group C’ matches are all set to begin this week, taking place from 23rd to 27th March, and featuring teams like Players (Gambit Esports), Team Liquid, GODSENT, BIG, Movistar Riders, and Party Astronauts.
