The ESL Challenger Rotterdam 2022 is all set to take place over the course of this weekend from 14^th to 16^th October. It will be featuring a total prize pool of $100,000 USD (INR 82,32,000) with the champion receiving a direct invite to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17.

This tournament will be played on LAN as part of the larger DreamHack Rotterdam Festival, taking place at the Rotterdam Ahoy, a convention center and multi-purpose indoor arena located in the city of Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Eight CS:GO teams are set to participate in this tournament. Four teams have direct invites whereas the rest have made their way through various regional qualifiers.

Teams - Invited and Qualified

A total of eight teams will be competing in this tournament, four direct invites on the basis of their ESL World Rankings and four others making their way through the various regional qualifiers.

Group Stage

• The eight competing teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each.

• Both these groups will be featuring a double-elimination bracket where the opening and winners matches are a single-game affair, but elimination and decider matches are best-of-three series.

• The top two teams from each group will move on to the playoffs stage.

Playoffs

• The playoffs stage of this tournament will feature four teams that qualified through the group stage.

• It will be following a single-elimination format where every match will be a best-of-three series.

• The winner of this tournament will receive the lion's share of the prize pool along with a direct slot in the EPL Conference S17.

Prize Pool

The $100,000 USD total prize pool will be divided between all the eight competing teams, based on their overall placement in the tournament.
