CS:GO Star Ropz Reportedly Nears Transfer From MOUZ to FaZe Clan
The Estonian rifler is finally ready to make a move!
MOUZ star rifler, Robin "ropz" Kool, seems to be nearing in on a transfer to FaZe Clan for the next competitive season. Earlier reports about the 21-year-old talented rifler had stated that he was ready to part ways with the German esports organization, MOUZ, after having competed under their banner since April 2017.
After more than four years, ropz is supposedly no longer committed to playing for MOUZ with both G2 Esports and FaZe Clan having shown an interest in signing him. Latest reports by Dexerto and 1pv.fr further reveal that FaZe has got an upper hand when it comes to acquiring ropz, already allegedly having entered advanced discussions with MOUZ.
FaZe Clan might be nearing in on a deal with MOUZ to acquire ropz
The Estonian lurker, ropz, is one of the best CS:GO players in his role but unfortunately he has not been able to achieve a lot with MOUZ, formerly known as mousesports. Despite trying out several rosters, the team through their highs and lows have never shown great consistency, as a result they were never able to keep up with the other top-tier teams in the scene.
Now, almost five years later ropz is ready to part ways with the organization and concentrate on winning more trophies with some other teams.
As per reports, FaZe Clan is nearing in on a deal with MOUZ to acquire ropz. They seem to be in advanced discussions with both the organization and the player, even fleshing out the personal terms with ropz.
If this transfer comes to fruition, ropz will most likely be replacing Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson on the current lineup, adding more strength and firepower to a squad who really needs to turn things around for themselves in 2022.
Ropz has been named in the top 20 CS:GO players list by HLTV in 2018 - 19th, 2019 - 10th, and 2020 - 7th showing great promise as a player who has the talent and skill to turn things around for a team like FaZe Clan.
With G2 Esports eyeing a dedicated AWPer for their side, which is reported to be Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov from NAVI Junior, FaZe Clan seems to be a more serious contender when it comes to signing ropz.
Also, MOUZ is not too keen on retaining its players that are being scouted by other organizations because they are thinking of promoting some players from their Academy team, MOUZ NXT, who were the champions of both WePlay Academy League Season 1 and Season 2.
