CS:GO Reignite Invitational Tournament Announced for India
The revival is in full swing!
The Indian esports community is excited for the 2023 season with multiple tournament organizers and teams focussing on the revival of classic competitive PC titles like Dota 2 and CS:GO.
FanClash, which claims to be Asia's largest esports fantasy platform, has jumped in on this bandwagon with the announcement of CS:GO Reignite, an invite-only tournament with INR 1,00,000 ($1,209 USD) total prize pool.
Five renowned organizations have been invited for this tournament which is scheduled to take place from 9th to 15th January. This event is aimed to revive the game within India and builds up on its recent partnership with Skyesports.
CS:GO Reignite announced by FanClash to revive the game in India
In November last year, Shiva "Marvel" Nandy - CEO and Founder of Skyesports, had pledged that they will be investing a minimum of $500,000 USD in 2023 towards the upliftment of competitive CS:GO and Dota 2 within India.
FanClash had partnered with the tournament organizer for the last esports LAN of 2022 - AMD Skyesports Championship 4.0, which featured both CS:GO and Dota 2.
Building up on its aim to revive the game, FanClash has invited five teams to its invitational CS:GO tournament,
Hyderabad Hydras
Velocity Gaming
Reckoning Esports
Revenant Esports
Orangutan
These teams will be taking on each other from 9th to 15th January with the finals set to take place on the last day from 17:00 onwards, winners walking away with INR 65,000 while the runners-up will receive INR 35,000.

Esports players and creators like Tejas "Ace" Sawant, Rishabh "Rakazone" Karnal, Sayyed "Paradox" Kasif, Manoj "Sentinel" Kasyap, Harsh "Harshhh" Arora, Swayambika "Sway" Sachar, Nishant "iFlicks" Murlidharan and many more will be competing in this tournament.
CS:GO Reignite will be livestreamed exclusively on FanClash's official YouTube channel, while also providing fans with an opportunity to take part in the tournament by creating their fantasy teams and putting their esports knowledge to the test.
